The challenge

Carlyle Cardinal Group selected Strata3 to develop a global digital strategy for the development of their Lily O’Brien’s luxury chocolate FMCG brand. The principal challenge was to grow the online sales channel revenues from a low base to 10% of total turnover over the next 3 years. This challenge included the design of a beautiful site, the development of a fully supply chain-integrated consumer- facing eCommerce store as well as a complete online marketing, analytics, cloud hosting and support solution.

The strategy

Strata3 worked closely with the Lily O’Brien’s management team to develop the new online channel with the combined aims of increasing sales revenue and establishing a stronger online brand presence and associated traffic. To meet the challenge Strata3 have provided Lily O’Brien’s with a total digital solution including the development of a fully SAP-integrated consumer-facing eCommerce store as well as a complete online marketing, PPC/ AdWords, analytics, hosting and support solution to drive and measure the traffic to the site.

The implementation

The Lily’s brand required a beautiful UI to properly sell this luxury product. Our design team pushed the limits of the platform to create custom and modular eCommerce interfaces. Strata3 deployed Lily’s on a Magento eCommerce platform and integrated with the legacy SAP ERP system. The new site is fully responsive and is built for flexibility and future growth. While providing a base for Lily O'Brien’s promotions and online campaigns the site delivers a beautiful design and first-rate user experience.
