The CCD
The Convention Centre Dublin website features extensive details on the venue. The information architecture is aimed at the event organiser, the attendee and the exhibitor and well as the general public. This detailed design and development project involved the integration with an event CRM system. The site promotes the city of Dublin as a destination through the use of rich media, travel and accommodation information, quick-search features and custom elements such as a carbon calculator, Facebook profile and YouTube channel.
The Venue Viewer
A central feature of the website is the interactive venue viewer. This facility allows the user to explore The CCD via animated interactive venue plans. It helps users to find a room to suit an event, to view the full capacity chart or to download a copy of the various 3D floor plans.
