It's Your Money was established by the Financial Regulator to help educate and support consumers in their financial decisions and dealings with financial institutions and firms. The internet was a key channel to deliver and meet this objective for the Financial Regulator.
Strata3 was commissioned to develop and deploy a new website onto the Publisher Enterprise CMS platform. While the website is primarily an information site containing money advice articles, it also contains functionality such calculators, budget planners, online polls, newsletter sign up and management as well as cost comparison surveys.
The costs comparisons surveys help the consumer to compare the costs and benefits of all financial products in the Irish market.
Strata3 was tasked to design a scalable and flexible database along with front end User Interfaces to help the user to search and explore products across current accounts, savings accounts, credit cards and many more.
The cost surveys have been well received online and have greatly reduced the paper based costs of this online surveys. The website also contains a publications catalogue where these documents can be ordered online. Entwine, the newsletter management tool set has also helped the Financial Regulator communicate with the users regularly and drive traffic back to the site.
